I got a new laptop! After 7 years of my faithful ASUS companion. I can't believe that that laptop lasted for so long through all the ups and downs, being in different countries, broken screen and all. This search for the new laptop has given me quite a headache because while technology is evolving, I really don't understand why certain things need to be taken away. Does it hurt to put in a full-sized SD card slot instead of a microSD or even worse, none at all? And while there are so many options, I literally only shortlisted 1 model and it was so difficult to locate one with a good deal (finally did, and I'm happy with my purchase). I didn't know that it would be so difficult - but at the same time I was quite picky as well. In any case, I hope that my new companion will last me a long time and fulfill all my needs especially if I were to do more creative work in the future like editing photos and videos - stay tuned ;).
